Sunflower Oil Market Report - 09 February 2018

Hope you are having some action in otherwise a dull and depressing market. Veg oil markets are practically dead with seller and buyer both refusing to move. Black Sea Ukraine is firmly offered for nearby at 760 and for AMJ at 771 with little flexibility from sellers but buyers so far not able to make up their mind. With mostly non-event USDA bean oil closed -35 giving little support to prices. CIF India was offered with out a bid as locally the oil is available lot cheaper then the USD prices and we will soon see deferment or delay of shipments by importers. It’s a good idea by refiners to delay their shipments or reduce the volumes and just scoop the cheap oils offered in INR . This will keep near by FOB under pressure and we can see sun oil getting traded at Feb levels also for march.
